Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 5 June 2026
At hpathy.ai, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy
explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your name (optional), username, and email address when
you register. - Consultation input: the symptoms, clinical observations, and questions you
enter into the AI, and any optional patient records (name, age, gender) you
choose to create for your own record-keeping. - Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type,
and interactions with the Service, used to operate and secure the platform.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide AI-assisted case-taking and to surface your past consultations.
- To enforce free-tier usage limits and protect the Service from abuse.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To respond to your enquiries and comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Storage and Security
- We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect data in transit.
- Consultation history is stored securely so you can review past cases.
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to
provide the Service.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the platform — for example, our
cloud hosting provider, our AI model providers (used to generate consultation
responses from the text you submit), and our email delivery provider. - Legal authorities, where required by applicable law or to protect our
rights and the safety of users.
5. AI Processing
The text you enter during a consultation is sent to third-party AI providers
(for embeddings and for generating responses) solely to produce your results.
Patient records you create for record-keeping are not sent to the AI.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your account and consultation history.
- Opt out of any non-essential communications.
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
7. Cookies
We use cookies to maintain your session and remember preferences (such as your
acknowledgement of the disclaimer). You can disable cookies in your browser, but
some features may stop working.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected
by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
